FC Midtjylland is looking for a new academy head as Bent Christensen leaves due to personal reasons. The Super League club announced this on their website. FCM's football director Jacob Larsen states that Bent Christensen is not able to continue in the role. Bent Christensen looks back on his time at FCM with pride and thanks for the opportunity to be part of the club. He has worked with some of the country's most talented young players as well as skilled employees. Bent Christensen moved to FC Midtjylland in September 2025 from Brøndby, where he had been for a long time. Here he was a transition coach for several years, while he was an assistant coach under Frederik Birk for a short period. As an active player, Bent Christensen became Danish champion with Brøndby five times and got his nickname Bent 'Turbo' for his attacking spirit and speed in front of goal. Jacob Larsen thanks Bent Christensen for his efforts and wishes him all the best for the future. Bent Christensen wishes FC Midtjylland all the best for the future and is convinced that the club will continue its strong development as one of Denmark's absolute best clubs. FC Midtjylland is now looking for a new academy head who can take the club's young players forward. It has not yet been announced who will take over the position.
